Are you a member of a foster or adoptive family and often felt invisible or pushed to the side?

Or are you a member of a foster or adoptive family and took on more responsibility and stress to meet the needs of your family?

Or are you a member of a foster or adoptive family and struggle with the trauma you experienced in your family?

Sibling Support may help you make sense of your experience and create new ways of interacting in relationships. If you feel like no one understands what you experienced in your family or feel alone or misunderstood in what you’ve gone through, individualized one-on-one support may help you make sense of your experience and move forward.

Being a sibling in a foster or adoptive family is a complicated role and few understand this complexity. To help make sense of your story and learn to navigate challenges, family coaching can offer support from someone who has lived it and studied it and counseled others through it.

  • Coaching is different from counseling in that it isn’t a weekly or biweekly commitment. You may only need 1-3 sessions spanned out over multiple months. We’ll work together to make sure your needs are getting met.

  • Services are not covered by insurance. Keep in mind that sessions are not a weekly commitment – at most you may find yourself wanting coaching sessions twice per month.

  • Coaching sessions are $95 for a 45 minute session.
